Our Leadership Team.

Glenn’s role is to ensure HIF is doing all we can to support our members to lead healthy lives and continue to instil confidence in the Private Health Industry. Glenn’s been with HIF since 2005 and Financial Leader since 2011. He’s supported HIF through industry reforms, including the turbulence of the COVID-19 Pandemic, while sustaining the financial performance of the fund. When he’s not in HIF HQ, you’ll find him fishing in the ocean or a mountain stream and enjoying the great outdoors.

Andrew has been with HIF since 2021, where he started as the Financial Controller and is now our Financial Leader. Andrew has spent over 20 years in general insurance including 14 years as Chief Financial Officer at medical indemnity insurer, MDA National. Andrew is a Fellow of CPA Australia. Outside of work Andrew swims regularly and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.

Belinda is the guardian of our community, making sure we stay protected from unwanted risks while fostering a culture that’s resilient and always puts our members' interests first. She also leads the way on strategy, focusing on member experience and regulatory needs. Before making Australia home, Belinda was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young South Africa, helping businesses navigate all things risk-related. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family (including her lively pup, Ruby) and getting lost in a gripping crime novel.

Nikesh leads our Product, Health Services and Data Analytics teams and has worked in private health insurance for more than 10 years. He and his team are focussed on providing data driven insights to ensure the sustainability of HIF’s product portfolio while also looking for opportunities to continually improve member value. Nikesh made the move to Melbourne on the cusp of the global pandemic and is enjoying finally being able to explore the city. When he’s not at work he loves playing and watching sports, especially football (real football that is, soccer) and cricket though he recognises he may be waiting a long time to see England win the Ashes in Australia.

Jen our is people person. With over 15 years of HR experience across diverse industries and locations, from Ireland to the Middle East and now Australia, she firmly believes that a successful business is built on an engaged and supported team. Jen is dedicated to making HIF a place where people enjoy their work, so they’re inspired to deliver the best experience for our members.

Jen leads our Diversity, Inclusion, and Reconciliation initiatives, with a strong commitment to creating a workplace where everyone not only feels welcome but also empowered to bring their authentic selves. Outside of work, you’ll find her training for her next marathon.

As Chief Marketing Leader, Kristina leads HIF’s marketing strategy and execution, driving brand awareness, member engagement, and growth. With 15 years of experience in marketing leadership, Kristina has successfully built and scaled high-impact marketing programs and partnerships. Outside of work, you’ll find Kristina on a tennis court or at the local farmer’s market. 

Troy is our technology guy. With over 25 years’ experience in IT/Cyber roles across a range of industries for some of the largest organisations in Australia, he’s convinced great technology liberates our teams to deliver outstanding member outcomes. When he is not studying for the next technology certification, Troy can be found racing dragon boats or dusting off the guitar.
