    Get it on Google Play or the App Store using your smart device.

    In the SkinVision app, tap ‘Get started

    Enter your details, and add your promo code from the HIF Online Member Centre.
    If you’re already registered, go to ‘Account’ → ‘Add promo code’ to apply it.

    You’re now ready to use the app!

    Simply take a photo of your skin spot(s) through the app and a panel of dermatologists will review the photo to provide additional guidance. The app is also a useful tool to keep track of any changes in your skin over time.

How can I be sure the SkinVision analysis is reputable? 

SkinVision is a digital tool that allows users to take photos of skin spot(s). Photos are reviewed by a panel of dermatologists who will provide guidance on when to seek professional advice. It does not provide a medical diagnosis.

How does SkinVision interact with medical professionals? 

SkinVision helps to guide your decision making about your skin, not to replace your doctor. You can easily track every spot with SkinVision’s body map, so you can monitor changes over time and share results with your GP. Members should continue to visit their dermatologist regularly for skin checks, and if you are unsure about any mole or lesion, you should seek in-person medical advice. 

Am I eligible for SkinVision?

If you’re 18 years or older and an active HIF member on Extras, Hospital, or Combined health cover, you are eligible for a 12-month SkinVision subscription until 1 December 2026. Just enter in the promotional code found in the Online Member Centre when creating your SkinVision account within the mobile app.

How do I access SkinVision as an eligible HIF member?
